The issue of Heritage Foods owned by AP Chief Minister and TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu rocked the Telangana Assembly on Wednesday.
The ruling party members successfully countered the issue of dilution of Veterinary department raised by the TTDP members in the House.
As the TTDP members alleged that contamination of milk was high in the State, the TRS members countered it by saying Heritage was supplying contaminated milk.
Reminding that Kerala government had already banned the Heritage milk in that State, the TRS members questioned why the sale of Heritage milk was being allowed in the State.
IT Minister K Taraka Ramarao asked why the Telangana TDP members were shocked and acting as representatives of Heritage Foods and agents of Chandrababu Naidu.
KTR said he was submitting the GO issued by Kerala government banning Heritage milk supply in that State on the charge of contamination.
He wondered as to why the Telangana TDP members were making a hue and cry when Chandrababu Naidu’s Heritage issue figured in the House.

Deputy Chief Minister in-charge of Health Dr Rajaiah said the government would take a decision on Heritage milk after testing its quality in the laboratory.
Congress MLA Dr J Geetha Reddy demanded that the State government take stringent action against all those supplying contaminated milk. She felt that children would face serious health problems due to consumption of contaminated milk.
