Governor Says Telephone Was Not Tapped

Governor Narasimhan has made it clear that the telephone of Andhra Pradesh CM Chandra Babu Naidu hasn’t been scraped. 

Story in a newspaper is that Central Home Minister Rajnath Singh had called the Governor and questioned him about the same. 

It is said that Narasimhan made it clear to the Home Minister that a call that Chandra Babu made to Stephenson got recorded and that it was not tapped.

It is said that the Governor had made it clear that his permission was required to file an FIR on Chandra Babu and that he had sought advice from the Central government regarding the procedure. 

Now it remains to be seen if the news is mere speculation or if it is the future turn of events. So does the Governor have all evidence pertaining to the case?
