For quite some time, Governor of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh E S L Narasimhan has been incurring the wrath of the Congress leaders of Telangana and Bharatiya Janata Party leaders of both the states for being partisan towards Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and his family members.
While the Congress leaders found fault with Narasimhan for heaping praises on KCR, KTR and Harish Rao and asked him to change his name as Kalwakuntla Narasimhan, the Andhra BJP leaders accused him of neglecting Andhra Pradesh and demanded that they should get a new Governor.
May be in a bid to pacify these agitating opposition leaders, Narasimhan went to Visakhapatnam on Wednesday and lavished praises on the leadership of AP chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu as well.
Addressing a meeting at Andhra University, he was all praise for Naidu for introducing technology in every field.
“The chief minister is converting Andhra Pradesh into a knowledge hub. He has introduced biometric system in all the educational institutions and encouraging start-ups by setting up incubation centres in all the universities.
I am confident that AP will get the aware of State of Excellence by next year under Naidu’s leadership,” the Governor said.
Later, he also visited weaker sections colonies in Pendurty and interacted with the beneficiaries.
