Speaking to the TDP journalist Maha Murthy, Revanth Reddy said that the High Command has to clear the proposal of Konda Surekha coming back to the Congress fold.
He further added, “We should also consider whether it is proper to readmit readily those who have quit the Party or left the Party when it needed them.”
Well, this ethical side no longer figures in politics anymore. The sole focus is to win enough number of seats and form the government by hook or by crook.
Every politician in this aspect is taking Chandrababu Naidu as an example. Naidu will do anything for power, the concept of ethics does not figure in his scheme of things at all.
KCR also does the same and now, it is the turn of the Congress.
The Party High Command has given the green signal to take the Konda couple along with D Srinivas, MLC Bhupathi Reddy and former MLA Nandiswar Goud back into the Party. These people are likely to join the Congress in the presence of Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi soon.
Is he or she, a good man or woman? Do they have a vision for the development of their constituencies and improve people’s lives? Are they people of an impeccable character? None of these things matter anymore.
The only criterion is: Can they win?
