Veteran actor and Telugu Desam MP Murali Mohan is at it again. The 'real estate boss' owning Jayabheri Constructions is said to have secured permission from the Andhra Pradesh government for taking up a big realty venture spread over seven acres, which is very near to capital region Amaravati. The buzz is that this seven-acre piece is owned by Murali Mohan.
Political analysts recall the days when Murali Mohan purchased lands in Gachibowli and surrounding areas just before then Chief Minister of Undivided AP N Chandrababu Naidu announced Cyberabad and Hitech city projects in late 1990s.
Murali Mohan made a windfall as his lands and realty projects became worth thousands of crores of rupees in Hitech city area.
He built several residential and commercial properties and sky was the limit for his earnings then.
Political observers feel that history was repeated again with Chandrababu becoming CM of residuary AP and announced building new capital city Amaravati and Murali Mohan securing permissions at a jet speed from the same boss to take up same realty projects and cash in on the realty boom again.
