DS Has No Choice But To Quit TRS

It looks like senior Telangana Rashtra Samithi leader and Rajya Sabha member D Srinivas will have to quit the party sooner or later.

According to party sources, TRS president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has refused to forgive DS and restore his position in the party, as the party leaders from Nizamabad are very firm on him being sacked from the party.

“There is no question of pardoning D Srinivas garu. He has tried to do immense damage to the TRS in the district by encouraging groupism. Not a single party leader in the district is happy with him.

All of them unanimously resolved to get him sacked from the party on disciplinary grounds,” KCR’s daughter and Nizamad MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha told media persons in Hyderabad.

She said the party high command will soon take a decision on the fate of DS in the party. “We shall not accept him in the party anymore,” she asserted.

It has been almost two months since DS has been out of the party activities after Kavitha and her party colleagues from Nizamabad lodged a complaint with KCR against DS and demanded his sacking from the party for his alleged anti-party activities.

DS made desperate bids to meet KCR, but could not get the audience. He has been virtually ostracised from the party.

While his younger son and Bharatiya Janata Party leader D Aravind has been under fire from the TRS leaders of Nizamabad for his anti-KCR remarks, his elder son D Sanjay has been arrested in connection with the alleged sexual harassment of girl students in his nursing college.

It was a virtual harassment of DS, who has at one stage, decided to walk out of the party. But he refrained from doing so for hoping that KCR would pardon him.

So, when he attended the TRS extended executive committee meeting last week, everybody thought he was excused by KCR and he would get back his glory in the party.

But with Kavitha making it so clear that DS cannot continue in the party, is now obvious that his days in the TRS are numbered,
