DS Feeling Suffocated In TRS

Telangana Rashtra Samithi MP and senior leader D Srinivas is getting more and more frustrated with the unusual silence of party president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao in deciding his fate in the party.

Obviously getting suffocated in the TRS, the veteran leader held a meeting with his followers, including public representatives from Nizamabad district, at a farm house near Kompally on the city outskirts on Monday evening to discuss the future course of action – whether he should continue in the party bearing all the humiliation or look for an alternative platform.

Apparently, he has realised that he should take a decision on what he should do to end the uncertainty, as he has not been getting the appointment of KCR despite repeated attempts. So, there is no point in continuing in the party.

And this is what KCR has been waiting for. He has remained tight-lipped despite a representation given by TRS leaders from Nizamabad led by his daughter and MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha asking for disciplinary action against DS.

They alleged that DS was creating groups in the Nizamabad party so as to benefit his younger son D Arvind, who has since joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. At the same time, they also suspected that he was in touch with the Congress bosses in Delhi.

Instead of acting on their complaint, KCR preferred to keep silent but did not even give appointment to DS to meet him and explain his version. So, he kept the fate of the veteran leader hanging in balance.

He knew that if he sacks DS, the latter would assume the posture of a martyr and would get a political mileage.

So, he has decided to fog DS out of the TRS and that is what is happening now!
