In typical Congress style, a lot of party workers and leaders from Nalgonda have expressed their unhappiness over the appointment of Uttam Kumar Reddy as PCC chief.
In fact, they have started complaining to the High Command against Uttam, say those in political circles. Incidentally, Jana Reddy who is now the opposition leader in Assembly is also against the appointment.
If Uttam’s post is confirmed, there is bound to be outburst within the party that both the PCC chief and opposition leader are from the same party. Obviously, that is going to turn into a huge headache for Jana Reddy some day.
Also, Komatireddy brothers are against Uttam Kumar Reddy for a long time. Given this background, it is said that all these leaders had met up at the house of Nalgonda MP Sukhender Reddy and gave a letter to the High Command.
Though it has lost power badly in the state and despite the party barely having any presence in both the Telugu speaking states, internal bickering continues as usual within the Congress party.
