Did Lokesh Pass Naidu's Mind-Set Test?

Did Lokesh Pass Naidu's Mind-Set Test?

As part of the two-day training camp for the Telugu Desam Party leaders at Happy Resorts near Mangalagiri, party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has organised extensive training by various psychologists to tune the mind set of party leaders in getting closer to the people and winning over their confidence.

The training programme was also aimed at finding out the strengths and weaknesses of the party leaders besides improving their articulation skills and ability to interact with the people. This training programme would also be extended to mandal and village level party workers in due course.

Interestingly, even Naidu’s son and Andhra Pradesh IT minister Nara Lokesh also attended the training programme along with other TDP leaders. The psychologists gave them a set of questions prepared by renowned American psychology expert late Thomas Gordon to test their knowledge skills and their ability to understand the issues relating to people.

According to reports, many TDP leaders struggled a lot in answering the questions and failed to get good marks. Even Lokesh had a tough time in answering the paper, despite being a management graduate from Stanford University. It is not exactly known whether he passed the test or not.

However, Lokesh said he had identified several flaws in his mind set and with the help of psychology experts, he would rectify the same.

“No person is 100 per cent perfect. If he is able to correct himself to the maximum extent possible, he can achieve success. That is why, I am also undergoing training in the change of mind set,” he said.
