Neither Telangana nor AP have been given any prominence in the Railway budget and for that matter, they no longer figure in any of the priorities of either the UPA or the NDA. But then, how can we expect others to respect us when we don’t respect ourselves?

Yet, in becoming the ‘Jinnah of Andhra Pradesh’, and the UPA by conceding to the demand of Telangana have only sent out the wrong signals to society i.e in India, it is political considerations that drive decision-making even if it is a threat to the unity and sovereignty of the country and does not make economic sense.
Taking a cue from KCR, a group of people from Uttarandhra have created a special ‘Uttarandhra State’ page on ‘Facebook’ with the objective of uniting the people of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam to fight for a separate state.
The online forum, created by five Vizagites, has already garnered 636 members from across the globe.
The administrators allege that injustice has been meted out to the people of north coastal Andhra region which has been neglected by successive governments. Thank you KCR!
