Crop Burnt To Get Back At Him?

Crop Burnt To Get Back At Him?

Velagapudi happens to be one of the villages in the capital zone. An incident that occurred there has become a cause for concern to some farmers in the region.

The farm of a certain farmer who refused to give his land for pooling has been burnt down. He had five acres of land on which he had planted sugarcane and the farm is now gutted.

While two acres are totally burnt, three acres are partially burnt say locals. It is being believed that the farm was burnt only because the owner refused to give his land for the new capital.

Meanwhile, YSRCP Ongole MP YV Subbareddy announced that he will be sending a team to look into the matter.

Meanwhile, anti LPS farmers from various villages of the capital region visited the burnt farmland. They alleged that now that the capital’s foundation laying ceremony was over, the government had started pressuring anti LPS-farmers. They said that they would now have to sleep in the lands to protect them.

While it is rather shameful that such incidents are happening, Chandra Babu has been claiming that the lands have been given voluntarily.

This might impact his image in the long run.
