Who has passed all the information about alleged illegal properties of former minister and Telugu Desam Party MLC Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy to YSR Congress party MLA Kakani Goverdhan Reddy?
Though Somireddy has sought to turn tables on Goverdhan Reddy by lodging a complaint with the police against the latter, he suspects that there was definitely some leak from the TDP government itself to Kakani. Apparently, Somireddy is said to be of the view that there are some coverts within the TDP in Nellore district who are working against him.
Kakani alleged that Somireddy had acquired illegal properties worth over Rs 1000 crore, which he had invested in Singapore and Malaysia.
He had even produced some documents to this effect. Though Somireddy has alleged that the documents were forged, sources said some of the evidences YSRC MLA produced were genuine.
“Otherwise, he will not be so confident in making allegations against the ruling party MLA,” he said.
Sources said the TDP MLC suspects that the documents were leaked to the YSRC MLA from within the government. Though he has some suspicion over a minister close to chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, he cannot say it openly because he has no evidence and even if he does, it only proves that the documents are genuine.
