Cong Seeks Support Of Left And YSRC In Warangal

The Congress party on Saturday sought the support of the Left parties, YSR Congress Party and peoples’ organizations in the ensuing elections to Warangal Lok Sabha seat.

Announcing the candidature of former MP Siricilla Rajaiah for the Warangal Lok Sabha by-election to be held on November 21, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president N Uttam Kumar Reddy appealed to the friendly Opposition parties to come forward to unite against the “undemocratic and anarchic rule” of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Uttam demanded an inquiry into the allegations leveled against KCR. He said the Congress will take the “corrupt practices” of KCR to the people.

He said the Congress would ask the Left parties and YSRCP to extend their support to the Congress candidate in the Warangal Lok Sabha by-election.

He also said the by-election was the right forum to the farmers and unemployed youth to teach a fitting lesson to the KCR government.
