Collections Dip For King Khan's Film

It is a known fact that Shah Rukh’s film Happy New Year made record collections in India by garnering Rs 40 crores in gross on the very first day.

In the first weekend, it breached the Rs 100 crore mark. So many thought it would become yet another blockbuster for King Khan. But surprisingly, collections have dropped drastically for Happy New Year.

According to trade reports, the collections dipped on Monday and the situation was the same on Tuesday.

So will it reach the Rs 200 crore mark? Well, it does not have any competition with big films. Hence it is likely to make Rs 40 crores in the second weekend say trade analysts.

HNY might manage to make Rs 200 crores in gross in the domestic market. In fact, Shah Rukh has also been doing promotional activities and a new song has also been released. And the King Khan is not leaving any marketing gimmick to get his film into the Rs 200 crore club.
