When Nara Brahmani turned up for the business seminar of Rahul Gandhi, it was more or less seen as confirmation that TDP was gearing up for an alliance with the Congress.
Chandrababu also had a survey conducted to analyse the impact of such an alliance.
Reportedly, the survey said a pact with the Congress will prove counter-productive to the TDP as people will not look favorably upon the TDP joining hands with Congress.
Not only will it seem the height of opportunism, it is also against the fundamental philosophy of TDP which was formed as an alternative to the Congress.
Nevertheless, Chandrababu seems to be keen on forging ahead and even conducted reviews with his MLAs and MPs.
Two Ministers, KE Krishnamurthy and Ayanna Patrudu have openly expressed their dissent against such a move. Therefore, the yellow media is campaigning that Chandrababu became serious at those two Ministers.
This is just to prevent others from speaking out.
