The BJP is denying any assistance to Andhra Pradesh either because they are worried that Chandrababu Naidu will eat away all the money or that the BJP will get no political mileage and Naidu will hog the limelight.
Either way, it is the people who end up suffering. The BJP has now prepared a draft report on the drought conditions in Rayalaseema and how the region has been neglected.
They intend to use this report to project themselves as champions of Rayalaseema. This is a cheap gimmick by the BJP.
On the one hand they are curtailing the growth of Andhra Pradesh and on the other, they are making project reports to criticize the TDP for poor governance in Rayalaseema.
This double-game will not earn them any goodwill for people will see through it.
