The Bharatiya Janata Party-led NDA government at the Centre has been extending a lot of help to Andhra Pradesh government, or so do BJP leaders claim, in implementing various developmental programmes, but they feel the Chandrababu Naidu-led TDP government has not been acknowledging the same.
Instead, the BJP leaders are angry with Naidu for claiming even the centrally-sponsored programmes as his own without even taking the name or photograph of Modi. They are upset with the way the Naidu government has been discrediting Modi during the implementation of welfare schemes.
The other day, senior BJP leader and MLC Somu Veerraju, known for his blatant anti-Naidu stand, wrote a letter to AP Chief Secretary Dinesh Kumar demanding that the Prime Minister be given due credit while implementing the central schemes. The BJP leader asked to use Modi's photos for the schemes.
He expressed displeasure over AP Government not using Modi's pictures in any of the Central government schemes.
“It is unfortunate that the Naidu government has ignored usage of Modi’s picture even in the Swachhata Seva as this was the prestigious project started by none other than Modi,” he observed.
