Behind The Scene: Frustration or Insanity?

The only B.Com (Physics) graduate in the world, Jaleel Khan is once again in the news albeit for a serious issue this time.

The Vijayawada MLA at a meeting of his Muslim community said that Muslims would torch ten trains if their welfare was neglected.

“The Kapus torched one train at Tuni over the Kapu reservation issue. Muslims are continually being used as vote bank and their welfare is being neglected by political parties. In such a case, we will torch not one but ten trains,” said Jaleel Khan, to thunderous applause from the audience.

What made Jaleel Khan speak this way? Is it the frustration of having been denied a Ministerial berth in the recent cabinet reshuffle or is it mere empty bravado aimed at impressing members of his community along the lines of an Akbaruddin Owaisi?

Whatever may be the reason, such threats even if not made seriously can have dangerous consequences and any such rabble-rousing should be nipped in the bud at the outset.

The Kapu community received a lot of flak for the violence at Tuni. Which sane person would take inspiration from the Tuni episode and threaten to create a bigger disturbance?
