It has been a long time since we have heard of Bangi Ananthaiah, the crazy politician who had once served as the Mayor of Kurnool Municipal Corporation. This gentleman is known for dressing in various attires to attract the people.
On Monday, Anantaiah appeared in a woman’s attire, dancing to the songs in front of the Kurnool Collector Office.
Reason: he is very much excited by the so-called women-oriented schemes being implemented by the Chandrababu Naidu government in Andhra Pradesh. He thanked the chief minister for waiving Rs 42,000 crore loans of DWCRA and self-help groups.
Interestingly, Anantaiah embarrassed Naidu government a few months ago by getting his head shaven in front of the Collector’s office demanding special status to Andhra Pradesh.
Earlier, he distributed sweets to all the people of Kurnool for Naidu’s decision to build 6 lakh houses with Rs 16,000 crores for poor under NTR housing scheme.
Ironically, the same Anantaiah resigned from the TDP and joined the Congress four years ago, when he was denied the MLC ticket by Chandrababu Naidu. However, after the TDP returned to power in AP, he came back to the TDP.
