Babu Failed On Amaravathi, What He Can Do For Hyd

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao ridiculed the claims of TDP leaders that if TDP wins GHMC elections, then Chandrababu Naidu can secure more funds from Centre and develop Hyderabad.

KCR termed these claims a big joke saying that Naidu failed to secure funds for new capital Amaravathi from Centre though being part of NDA government and the question of he securing more funds for Hyderabad does not arise.

"Naidu had invited Modi to Amaravathi foundation laying ceremony in October last year. I myself was also present there because I was also invited. I saw Modi bringing two pots from Delhi, which were kept on a table in front of us. I looked it them and thought there were gold coins inside.

But when they opened I was shocked to see one contained mud and another pot contained water, which were thrown in a pit dug for the ceremony. Such is the position Naidu commands in Centre," KCR remarked amid laughter in the press conference addressed by him at Telangana Bhavan on Thursday.

KCR asked who will believe the claims of Naidu and other TDP leaders over bringing special funds from Centre to develop Hyderabad if they win GHMC elections after they had seen two pots in Amaravathi on TV screens.
