Are They Vying To Develop New Capital?

Well, apparently, both Singapore and Japan are vying with each other to provide support and expertise for the development of the new capital city of Andhra Pradesh.

Or at least, these are the ‘filmi’ dialogues told by AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu. Movies are all about make-belief world created for entertainment. Everything that is shown in them is not true. So, we have to take it that Chandra Babu’s were filmi dialogues.

Chandra Babu was present at the Memu Saitam event held by Tollywood to collect money for the aid of Hud Hud affected people.

Babu was handed over Rs 11.5 crores at the event. On the occasion, he said that many foreign countries were keen on developing the new capital city.

However, the reality is totally different. Recently, there was news that Singapore firms were keen on providing consultancy services for a whopping Rs 1200 crores.

Similarly, talk is rife in political circles that during Babu’s trip to Japan, the companies there were equally keen on investing in the new capital. Well, whatever the truth is, it will come out in the coming days.

Though it has been six months since the new government has come into power, no step has been taken for the development of the new capital city. The situation has come to a standstill at the ‘land pooling’ stage.

Given this scenario, if Babu claims that top international companies are vying to develop new capital, is it believable?
