If the reports from the official corridors are true, the Andhra Pradesh Government is getting ready to conduct its Assembly sessions at Nagarjuna University in Guntur district instead of old Assembly building in Hyderabad.
According to sources, AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is learnt to have directed the officials to prepare the varsity for the Assembly session as soon as possible.
Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao will pay a visit to the varsity on November 17 along with officials. The government is planning to conduct Assembly session for six days at least during December third week.
Taking cue from the government, the varsity officials are busy transforming the premises for the session.
The Government has now shifted its focus on providing accommodation to ministers and MLAs in Guntur and Vijayawada.
