Andhra Dy CM's son facing murder charges!

Andhra Dy CM's son facing murder charges!

There have been several allegations by the Opposition parties on the criminal activities of the Telugu Desam Party leaders in the state.

More recently, we have seen the court convicting TDP MLA from Denduluru Chintamaneni Prabhakar and sentencing him to two years imprisonment for attacking former minister Vatti Vasantha Kumar.

On Friday, a criminal court in Dhone in Kurnool district charged K E Shyam Babu, son of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister KE Krishnamurthy in a murder case.

The court directed the police to include Shyam Babu’s name along with two others in the charge-sheet in connection with the murder of YSRCP Pathikonda in-charge Cherukulapadu Narayana Reddy on May 22, 2017.

Narayana Reddy's wife Kangati Sridevi filed a petition in the court seeking the arrest of Shyam Babu and two others.

She raised objection over the way Shyam Babu had exerted pressure on the police and investigating officials to remove his name from the chargesheet.

Narayana Reddy's wife also sought the court to include the names — Aspari ZPTC Kapatrala Bojjamma, the then Veldhurti sub-inspector Naga Tulasi Prasad, as accused in the murder case of her husband.

More or more such cases are expected to surface in the coming months, much to the embarrassment to the TDP as the elections are approaching.
