Andhra Pradesh Tourism Minister Akhila Priya is still said to be upset at being publicly corrected for her remarks.
The incident happened during CM Ramesh’s ‘weight- loss plan’ in Kadapa recently.
Akhila Priya who visited the venue to express solidarity with Ramesh said that the TDP will take out a cycle rally to Delhi if the Centre did not grant special category status to Andhra Pradesh!
Immediately, the TDP cadre present there looked at each other with shocked faces. How long will it take for those poor fellows to go on a cycle to Delhi?
Besides, although the TDP’s symbol is the cycle, no one uses a cycle anymore, at least not a majority of the people anymore. So, it is time for the TDP to change its symbol along with the changing times and maybe opt for a ‘splendor plus’ or a ‘Honda Activa’.
Anyway, coming to the point, the senior TDP leaders on stage corrected Akhila Priya and said her plan was not feasible.
Understandably, Akhila Priya was not happy at being corrected publicly.
