After Naidu, Modi Out To Please Pawan Kalyan!

It is not known whether anybody has taken power star and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan seriously or not with regard to his so-called fight against the BJP government at the centre and the Telugu Desam Party government in Andhra Pradesh, but Prime Minister Narendra Modi and chief minster N Chandrababu Naidu seem to have definitely taken him seriously.

Following Pawan Kalyan’s recent visit to Uddanam area in Srikakulam district to highlight the mysterious kidney diseases in the area and setting a 48-hour deadline to the state government to come to the rescue of nephropathy patients, the chief minister reacted immediately and announced a serious of sops and also measures to address the issue. Naidu declared that the kidney patients would be treated as physically challenged and provided all the benefits.

And the Centre, too, reacted promptly. The prime minister has asked Union health minister J P Nadda to look into the issue and take up remedial measures immediately.

Nadda said the Centre was very keen on rescuing the kidney patients by finding out the root cause of the problem. He announced that an expert team of nephrologists had been constituted under the aegis of National Council of Medical Research and the team would soon visit Uddanam area to study the problem and come out with remedial measures.

Good show, Pawan!
