Survey Tension Grips Jana Sena MLAs

Survey Tension Grips Jana Sena MLAs

Surveys have long been part of the Telugu Desam Party’s strategy to assess the performance of its MLAs and ministers.

Now, it appears that Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, a close ally of TDP, has also developed a keen interest in internal surveys.

According to reports, a comprehensive survey was recently conducted to evaluate the performance of Jana Sena’s MLAs over the past year.

A reputed survey agency is said to have carried out the evaluation, and the results are reportedly in the hands of Pawan Kalyan himself.

Sources claim that the survey findings were not favorable for several MLAs.

Some constituencies have returned negative feedback, and in certain cases, serious allegations — including corruption and misuse of power — have been flagged.

The report allegedly mentions involvement in illegal activities ranging from sand and liquor dealings to other local-level irregularities.

There is strong speculation that Pawan Kalyan is planning to hold a crucial review meeting with his MLAs in June, marking one year of the alliance government.

During this meeting, the survey results are expected to be shared directly with the legislators.

This has reportedly caused considerable anxiety among Jana Sena MLAs, especially since no one knows whose name features where in the survey or how each individual has been assessed.

In Uttarandhra alone, there are five Jana Sena MLAs, including both senior and junior members.

Though most MLAs believe they have maintained a good public image, the uncertainty around the survey’s findings has left them uneasy.

With only the leadership privy to the sealed report, speculation is rife about who performed well and who may have earned negative marks.

As a result, tension is said to be running high within the Jana Sena legislative ranks.
