No Takers In TDP For Betting On 12 Corporations

There are no takers to bet on the TDP's victory in any of the 12 Municipal Corporations in the state where polling was held on March 10. 

The TDP's usual punters in the two Telugu states are saying no to the party's victory on any of the 12 corporations.

However there are punters for TDP on municipalities where the party has some chances. Elections were held for 71 municipalities in the state.

While the ruling YSR Congress is poised to win majority municipalities, the TDP is likely to win a handful of them and the punters on it now, but not on municipal corporations.

The TDP, according to the punters had done very poor in the municipal elections. Though the TDP had set it's eyes on the urban voters to favour it after its debacle in the panchayat elections, things did not go as expected.

The TDP star campaigners have failed to win the voters and rather distanced them by hurling abuses at them.

Chandrababu Naidu said Vijayawada voters have lost their masculine power and have become spineless.

The next day Naidu said the Guntur voters have lost their anger and self-esteem and self-respect. 

It's not just Naidu who is blaming and abusing voters for defeating TDP in 2019 general elections. Most of the TDP leaders and activists have been abusing the voters. 

This abuse had further distanced voters from the TDP which is set to face further humiliation in the municipal elections.

That is the reason why most of the punters are not ready for betting on TDP's victory.

However, betting continues on the number of divisions they the TDP would win in Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Guntur municipal corporations out of the 12 municipal corporations that went for polling. 

Betting is on for TDP winning more tha 12 divisions in Vijayawada, and close to 20 divisions in Visakhapatnam. It is on these two counts the punters are betting a few cross of rupees. 

It is to be seen how many punters will emerge successful and how many will lose.
