Media Is Biased To One Leader, One Party, One Caste

Amaravathi: The IT officials have been conducting raids on some persons in Andhra Pradesh.

The officials have been searching the offices and houses of some business persons and some government employees for the past 48 hours.

The raids are being held in Hyderabad and Vijayawada, besides other places and several key documents have been seized and some key persons were taken into custody for questioning and further investigation.

Surprisingly and shockingly, the Telugu media had conveniently ignored these raids.

A section of the media is absolutely silent on these raids giving highest priority to Amaravati issue, while another section had given most insignificant importance to the news.

However, Amaravati, the issue of two villages and two parties, continued to dominate the news sections of the Telugu media.

The IT officials have raided the offices of former minister and TDP leader Prathipati Pulla Rao’s son in Hyderabad.

They raided the offices and residence of the TDP leader from Kadapa, Srinivasulu Reddy, the houses of Chandrababu Naidu’s former PS and government employee Srinivas Rao, the offices of former minister Nara Lokesh’s associate Kilaru Rajesh and TDP MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna’s second son-in-law and Gitam institutions chairman M Bharat. However, the TDP and its media had conveniently ignored this news.

The Hyderabad ACB court had also held a hearing of the Chandrababu Naidu’s disproportionate assets case filed by Lakshmi Parvathi on Friday and had posted the case for next hearing on February 14.

Shockingly, this news too did not find place in the Telugu media, while it had prominently mentioned the cases relating to Jaganmohan Reddy.

The media also ignored the news about the Supreme Court taking up the case against Margadarsi Chits, filed by former MP Undavalli Arun Kumar, last week. But, it finds even a small case of reference to Jaganmohan Reddy and gives greater importance.

The media had given top priority the other day for a negative report on Kia Motors, but when the governments and the cars firm came up with clarification and disapproving the facts, the news was limited to the inside pages.

This is how the media is operating in AP these days, losing its credibility and completely getting exposed for its biased nature, biased to one party, biased to one leader and biased to one caste.
