Lokesh and Naidu Differ on Jagan Attack Response

During a political campaign in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy sustained an eye injury after being targeted by miscreants who pelted stones at him.

Upon hearing the news, political leaders from various parties extended their wishes for the YSRCP chief's speedy recovery.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the first to express his sentiments via Twitter, followed by AP Leader of Opposition N Chandrababu Naidu. However, Nara Lokesh, son of Naidu, surprised many with his response to Jagan's ordeal.

While Naidu condemned the attack and called for an impartial inquiry by the Election Commission of India to hold those responsible accountable, Lokesh made a sarcastic comment suggesting Jagan should try something different, likening the incident to a sequel of the knife attack at Vizag airport, referred to by TDP as the 'Kodi Kathi' drama version 2.

In his message, Nara Lokesh portrayed the entire episode as satire, implying that the stone might have originated from Jagan's residence in Tadepalli.

Lokesh's response has faced strong criticism from YSRCP workers and netizens alike, who have compared it unfavorably to the mature reaction of Nara Lokesh's father, Chandrababu Naidu, to the incident.
