Trivikram's Support Revives 'Ustad Bhagat Singh'

The film Ustad Bhagat Singh has faced delays and confusion since its announcement, with reports alternating between whether it would be there or shelved.

After brief shooting phases and a teaser release, the project stalled when Pawan Kalyan became Deputy CM.

Now, Pawan aims to finish all pending films by August. Hari Hara Veeramallu is done, OG is nearing completion, and Ustad Bhagat Singh remains.

Since its complete shoot is still pending, doubts arose about its future. However, periodic updates suggest the project is still alive.

The script was ready, but it's reportedly being revised. Pawan is said to still have concerns. Recently, director Harish Shankar met Pawan on the OG set, where senior filmmaker Trivikram was present.

When Pawan questioned aspects of the script and character, Trivikram stepped in, reassuring him by saying, “He’s your fan. Leave it to him to decide how to present you, what costumes to give you, and what dialogues you should deliver. He made Gabbar Singh. You trusted him them. Trust him again.”

This encouragement convinced Pawan to proceed. Filming for Ustad Bhagat Singh is now expected to resume in June.

Interestingly, though Trivikram was earlier rumored to oppose the Mythri project, he now supports it.
