Not many know that it was actor J D Chakravarthy who prompted Ram Gopal Varma to approach Lakshmi Parvathi when Balakrishna refused to hand over the reins of NTR's biopic.
It was J D Chakravarthy who mediated between Lakshmi Parvathi and RGV to make his version of NTR's biopic. Thus he announced "Lakshmi's NTR", a story of NTR from the point of view of his widow Lakshmi Parvathi.
However, J D Chakravarthy has now completely backed out from this project due to pressures.
RGV is now dealing himself with the help of his producer Rakesh Reddy, who is leader of YSR Congress party. It is known whether JD fears about Nandamuri Balakrishna or he chickened out after the growing controversies.
Although he will lend his support to his guru Ram Gopal Varma, he will not be seen anywhere near him till the film gets completed lest people misconstrue it.
Meanwhile, RGV is launching his action drama with Nagarjuna as hero next month and the film will be produced by Nag himself on his banner Annapurna Studios. Buzz is that he is trying to rope in Tabu in an important role in this movie.
