Until recently, the "Baahubali" films held the record for being the most expensive films ever made in India, starring Prabhas. Since then, many films have pushed the boundaries in terms of high budgets.

Prabhas is now set to break yet another record.

"Project K" has officially become the most expensive Indian film ever made. According to various reports and calculations, the sci-fi drama, produced by C Ashwini Dutt and directed by his son-in-law Nag Ashin, will have a budget of Rs 600 crore upon completion.

As of now, "Project K" has completed 80 percent of its filming. The remaining scenes will be shot as soon as Kamal Haasan confirms his availability. The legendary actor will portray a character with dark undertones as the antagonist.

The remunerations for big names like Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani alone consume hundreds of crores from the budget.

According to reports, Prabhas has commanded a fee of Rs 150 crore for his involvement in the project. It is also reported that Deepika Padukone charged Rs 15 crore for her portrayal of the main female protagonist.

The legendary superstar Kamal Haasan received payment of approximately Rs 30 crore for his role in the film.

When considering remunerations for Amitabh Bachchan and other actors, the total reaches around 230 Cr.

The production cost is estimated to be somewhere between Rs 300 and 400 crore. Thus, the overall budget will range from Rs 500 to 600 crore.

However, non-theatrical and Hindi rights are expected to cover nearly 60% of this budget.
