The craze around 'Kabali' has reached to the sky level, many are planning to bunk the offices and colleges to the movie on first day first show. Such unprecedented craze the movie has generated. Still, the Telugu producers are not happy.
Telugu rights were snapped up by K P Chowdhary and Praveen of Shanmukha Films and they sold the rights to various distributors.
The Nizam rights were bought by Abhishek Pictures and they already paid huge money to the producers. But in Andhra some of the distributors are not giving money, says K P Chowdhary. He said some vested interests are putting pressure on the distributors in Andhra to hold the money.
The reason is that Lakshmi Ganapathi Films and their group are trying to stall the movie’s release in order to recover the old dues from Rajinikanth’s family.
But it was decided that old dues can later be discussed with Rajinikanth once he lands in India and allow the movie to release without any hurdles. Still, they are forcing the distributors to not pay the money, alleges K P Chowdhary. He is hoping that h would get the money by tonight.
