The Akhanda 2 success meet was held on a grand scale. Director Boyapati Srinu, hero Nandamuri Balakrishna, music director SS Thaman, and Nizam distributor Dil Raju delivered strong speeches. However, the producers were noticeably absent from the event.
What makes this interesting is that the producers had organised a media meet on the day of the film’s release, but director Boyapati and music director Thaman did not attend that meet.
According to reliable sources, there appears to be some distance between Balakrishna and the producers.
It is said that the producers were unable to ensure a smooth release of the film, and both the hero and the director had to sacrifice a significant portion of their remuneration.
Because of these issues, Balakrishna is believed to be unhappy with the producers.
In fact, despite several producers competing for the project, Balakrishna reportedly chose to make the film with 14 Reels Plus after rejecting others.
Sources also say that the arrangements and expenses for today’s success meet were entirely taken care of by Mango Ram.
It is believed that he bore the maximum responsibility and burden during the film’s release.
Within the industry, there are whispers that the producers stayed away due to the gap with the hero, while others claim that Balakrishna himself asked the producers not to attend the function.
