Now, if your last film was a dud, then south India's maverick director Shanker has a 'hit' formula for you. Apparently, if you were to check out the plush gyms in Chennai, you are bound to find director Shanker in one of them.
It is being said that he has taken a liking to gym and is said to be extremely focused on his gymming and yoga sessions. Though he is extremely busy with the sequel to Rajinikanth's Robot, it is said that he has been taking time off to hit the gym without fail.
While he works out religiously for three hours in the gym, news is that he also takes yoga classes in between. Since Rajinikanth has given his nod, Shanker is getting his final script ready so that Rajinikanth can sign the dotted line.
Also, over the past one and half months, Vikram and his team have been working on the script of Robot 2 and they even rented an apartment for the purpose.
Shanker is said to have finished more than half of the script and he is expected to finish the rest in about two weeks.
Meanwhile, it is known that Vikram will be playing the villain opposite Rajinikanth in the film and he will have a handlebar mustache just like in Kamal Haasan 1992 starrer Thevar Magan.
Though Vikram's part has not been revealed, it is being said that Vikram has requested Shanker to launch his son Dhruv for playing baddie in Robot 2.
As of now, Rajinikanth will start shooting for Ranjith's film from September. He has already allotted 45 days for the same and he will shoot for 15 days each month for three months. Once he completes the film, he will begin shooting for Robot 2 say Tamil industry sources.
