It's summer time and a time when some of the biggies hit the screens. However, the exam season is not over yet, so the big films will start hitting screens from April. But Nikhil's film Kirrack Party will kick-start the season this coming Friday.
Starting this week, there is a release or two lined up for every week through out summer, which is good news for film lovers.
With biggies like Ram Charan’s “Rangasthalam”, Mahesh Babu’s “Bharat Ane Nenu”, Rajinikanth’s “Kaala” and Allu Arjun’s “Naa Peru Surya” in the fray, the amount involved in business at stake is too high this summer.
In addition to these, there are quite a few middle-range movies that are also doing pretty good pre-release business.
The current in-form hero Nani’s “Krishnarjuna Yuddham” has been bagged by Dil Raju for distribution.
Then there is Nithin’s “Chal Mohan Ranga”, which appears to be gaining from its association with Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram. Kalyan Ram’s “MLA” and “Kirrak Party” too are mid-range films.
Nayanathara’s “Karthavyam”, “Needhi Naadhi Oke Katha”, “Rajaratham”, Vishal’s “Abhimanyudu” and some other small movies will also be hitting screens this summer.
Altogether, it is estimated that the industry will be betting on nearly Rs 600 -700 Cr on the summer releases.
