To put an end to the ongoing controversy over the use of sacred phrase 'Namakam Chamakam' in DJ song, the makers have issued a clarification saying the sacred phrase of 'Rudra Strotram' has been deleted completely.
So, we won't be hearing those words in the movie. This whole controversy is about the "Gudilo Badilo" song in Allu Arjun's upcoming release "Duvvada Jagannadham".
Even after producer Dil Raju and director Harish Shankar have issued statements about the change of lyrics a week ago, Brahmins have been filing cases against the makers regarding this particular song. A petition has also been taken up by High Court.
So, Dil Raju issued a statement now to put put an end to the controversy completely.
He is worried about the movie's smooth release. He doesn't want any unnecessary protests before the release.
"We have changed the lyrics. The new lyrics 'Na Gamakam Nee Sumukam' come in the place of 'Namakam Chamakam'.
When we went to Censor Board, we submitted the print with this new song. We got clearance for the film. This new song will be uploaded in Youtube and new bunch of audio albums will also be released," Dil Raju said.
"Duvvada Jagannadham" is slated for 23rd June release. The song is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
