Kiran Abbavaram’s latest film Chennai Love Story is continuing its strong run at the box office.

After delivering successful films such as KA and K-Ramp, the actor has returned with a romantic drama that appears to have connected well with audiences.

The film collected ₹5.50 crore net in India on its second day, registering an 11.1 per cent growth over its opening-day collection of ₹4.95 crore.

With this, Chennai Love Story has earned ₹10.45 crore net in India in two days. Its total India gross now stands at approximately ₹12.02 crore.

The film also performed well in overseas markets, collecting around ₹2 crore on Day 2. Its two-day overseas gross has reached ₹4.60 crore.

The worldwide gross collection of Chennai Love Story now stands at nearly ₹16.62 crore.

The film ran across 1,762 shows on its second day, benefiting from the Saturday rush and positive audience response.

Directed by Ravi Namburi, Chennai Love Story stars Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya in the lead roles, with Trigun playing an important character.

Produced by SKN and Sai Rajesh, the film has received appreciation for its emotional story and the performances of the lead actors.

Many viewers have described Sri Gouri Priya’s performance as one of the best of her career.

The actress also took to Instagram Stories to thank audiences for the overwhelming response to the film.
