Bollywood super star Akshay Kumar realised a long cherished dream when he was honoured with the National Best Actor award by the Central Government for his performance in the film Rustom.
We now hear from sources that the actor is in a deep depression and wants to return his national award. Why?
Apparently, someone showed Akshay Kumar the video clipping of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu weeping in the Assembly and telling members what a great leader he was.
Looking at Naidu’s performance, Akshay is believed to have told his team, “What is my acting compared to that of the AP CM’s? Is there any actor in India who can even come close to him? I feel guilty to be keeping this national award with me. I shall return it to the government.”
Similarly, students of the Film and Television Institute of India and the prestigious National School of Drama are all set to go on a strike if the video of Naidu weeping, is not made a compulsory case study and part of their curriculum.
At least now, people of India understand what exactly Naidu meant when he said he was the senior most leader in the country. It’s in terms of acting, fellas!
