Veteran actor Sanjay Dutt was not happy with the rumours of Maanayata wanting to pursue a career in acting by showcasing some bold pictures on Instagram.
A few weeks ago, Sanjay Dutt's wife Maanayata was making Instagram a hotter place with her smoking hot swimsuit photos. However, her recent posts on the photoblogging site are more demure.
If a report in Mid-Day is to be believed, it is her husband Sanjay's diktat which made Maanayata change the kind of pictures she posts.
Apparently, the actor's friends brought to his notice the reports doing the rounds that Maanayata is posting such pictures to attract the attention of filmmakers and show her interest in pursuing a career in Bollywood.
It is no secret that Sanjay does not approve of the women in his family choosing acting as a profession.
Talking about his daughter, he had earlier told PTI, "Trishala wanted to be an actress and I wanted to break her legs."
So when speculations of Maanayata entering showbiz arose, Sanjay expressed his displeasure and put an end to her bold pictures on Instagram.
On the work front, Sanjay will be seen next on the big screen in Omung Kumar's revenge drama Bhoomi, which will hit the screens on September 22.
