Well, like all film stars, Samantha and Siddharth never openly acknowledged their relationship. But the media did do its bit of digging around and print, television and online media were filled with news about their alleged relationship.
Since it is quite common for such stories to appear, neither Samantha nor Siddharth put a stop to them. Meanwhile, it was reported that they were spotted together performing pujas and attending parties and functions together.
And one day, there was news that Samantha and Siddharth had tied the knot and that they were also living together in Siddharth’s house in Chennai. Still, both of them simply didn’t bother to react.
Samantha maintained all along that they were good friends and no one bothered to check with Siddharth anyways.
Today, a daily has carried a story saying that Samantha was distressed that their relationship has ended.
Naturally, an irked Samantha immediately tweeted saying that she will not make any clarifications and said she was not heart-broken as it was being made out.
Poor girl must have had the shock of her life with a journalist deciding whether she is sad or not. While Bollywood actors date their co-stars, the media is much mature there and simply report the happenings, instead of being judgmental about either parties.
Though relationships also happen in Tollywood, no one talks about them and some old school journalists love to dissect relationships of actors.
Well, as for Samantha, it is a huge relief that the media will stop asking her about Siddharth and she can now concentrate on her career in Telugu and Tamil.
