Gunasekhar's epic drama Rudrama Devi has been doing well at the box office despite weak talk. People are very much interested to have a glimpse at this historical drama.
The film has minted 23 crores share in its first three days making it one of the biggest openers ever.
Collections on Monday have dipped a bit, but it is understandable drop after a super strong first weekend.
Rudrama Devi is doing pretty good for its talk and reviews. This proves that people are not bothered about the talk and watching it all because of the genre.
Gunasekhar could have hit a gold mine had he taken care about the script and execution. Rudrama Devi may not go far with this talk. Even decent talk would have ensured a place among the all time top 3 grossers.
Even Bruce Lee release might have been pushed if the film opened to blockbuster talk. This will go down as a wasted opportunity when people are willing to watch it.
