Sumanth starrer 'Malli Raava' that released amidst strong pre-release buzz received mixed reviews. Still, the film was able to draw in nearly 100k dollars in its opening weekend, which is a big number for a Sumanth starrer.
All Sumanth’s movies except ‘Godavari’ were duds in overseas market. However, this film is expected to gross a little above 100k dollars by end of its total run.
Since it was released as an understanding (not bought out as outright), this is win-win for the producer and distributor.
