USA BO: Bumper Second Weekend for Fidaa

USA BO: Bumper Second Weekend for Fidaa

There is no stopping for 'Fidaa' at USA box-office as it grossed nearly 350k dollars in its second weekend. A terrific feat.

By end of its second weekend, “Fidaa” now stands at 1.62 million dollars and it has now just short of becoming the third biggest hit this year after “Baahubali 2” and “Khaidi No 150”.

The total lifetime gross of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s “Gauthamiputra Satakarni” is $1,662,775. “Fidaa” will cross this tomorrow.

At this rate, the film has high chances to join the club of $2 million dollars. The film was bought for moderate price for overseas rights and the distributor is already seeing 300 percent of return on investment.

This is biggest hit in overseas for all parties of the movie concerned – producer Dil Raju, director Sekhar Kammula and Varun Tej.

Fidaa: Wk 1 - $1,280,083, Fri  $86083, Sat $155484, Sun 100k (apprx) Total: $1.62 million

On the other hand, last week’s release “Gautham Nanda” was total washout. The film’s gross is below 50k dollars in its opening weekend. So, it is another big dud for hero Gopichand who has been going through dull phase.
