Of all the movie industries in India, Tollywood is minting money like anything. Rs 100 Cr share is slowly turning out to be regular for big star movies.
Rs 100 Cr club in Bollywood is passe but for a regional movie industry, this is huge achievement. So far, only five Telugu movies have garnered Rs 100+ Cr share.
Rajamouli’s epic fantasy “Baahubali” dramas have created records that hard to be broken any time soon.
Today, all stars are aiming for non-Baahubali records and Ram Charan set new record with “Rangasthalam” with a huge margin.
“Rangasthalam” is now all-time third highest grosser after “Baahubali” movies. Surprisingly, Mahesh Babu’s “Bharat Ane Nenu” also crossed Rs 100 Cr mark slowly.
Although the producers, are posting false figures, it finally crossed the total share of ‘Khaidi No 150’ worldwide and stands at fourth position.
“Bharat Ane Nenu” gets major share from overseas, Chennai and Karnataka outside Telugu states.
