TANA Swara Tarangini in Philadelphia

TANA (Telugu Association of North America) celebrated the Dasara and organized Swara Tarangini Musical Concert on Saturday October 4th 2014 in Upper Merion High School, King of Prussia, PA.

Singers Usha, Deepu, Prudhwi, Parnika and Mimicry Ramesh performed as part of the celebrations which was attended by more than 700 people, historically very big turnout for any Dasara/Diwali Event in the area. 

TANA President Mr. Mohan Nannapaneni attended as Chief Guest. This event was coordinated by Mr. Ravi Potluri (TANA Mid-Atlantic Regional Representative).

Other TANA Leadership attended the event are Secretary Satish Vemana and Foundation Chairman - Jay Talluri and Harish Koya Foundation - Trustee, Rao Yalamanchili, Bobby Yerra, NRC Naidfu, Nagaraju Nalajala, Raghu Yeddulapalli, Srinivas Oruganti and Satish Chundru. A special video on TANA screened and TANA President Mr. Mohan Nannapaneni gave the captivating speech explaining the activities of TANA and explaining the necessity of taking the membership in TANA and invited the audience to the 20th TANA conference which will be held from July 2nd to 4th 2015 in Cobo Center, Detroit, MI.

The prime time program was started by Satish Tummala followed by a prayer song by Shiva Nuthanapati.  

The presence of Singer Usha was the highlight, her continuous Two (2) hours non-stop performance along with singers Deepu, Prudhwi, Parnika was well received by audience. Mimicry Ramesh entertained the audience with dialogues and enthusiasm involving the audience during the show.

Dasara Celebrations turned into a Dance Party by the singers who gave energetic performance on-stage and in the middle of audience.

The young and old all were dancing to the tunes of the singers. MC Sri Lakshmi did wonderful job.

TANA Mid-Atlantic team felicitated Mr. Mohan Nannapaneni and Secretary Satish Vemana, Foundation Chairman - Jay Talluri and Harish Koya Foundation - Trustee and Vidyadhar Garapati (Movers.com) who sponsored the event and recognized other donors Ram Chowdary (Bell Info Solutions), Ruchi Indian Cuisine (Exton), Satish Vemana, Ruchi Indian Cuisine (Exton, PA), Bobby Yerra, Rajan Abraham (Realty Mark Suburban), Satish Sunkanapalli, Gopi Vagvala, Nagaraju Nalajala, Raghu Yeddulapalli & Somi Ramanjulu and other guests.

The registration committee – Bobby Yerra, Murthy Chavali, Nishitha Venkannagari, Saida Mylapalli, Rocky Kothapalli worked hard to make this event grand success.  Dinner arrangements coordinated by Suresh Venkannagari. Decorations handled by Satish Tummala & Mohan Santosh Malla and Audio support provided by Murthy Nuthanapati.

TANA team felicitated Mr. Sambaiah Kotapati and Mr. Syambabu Veluvolu and Mr. Kiran Kothapalli for their services to the community. It was an excellent team effort under the leadership of TANA Mid-Atlantic Regional Representative Ravi Potluri.

TANA leadership thanked TAGDV for supporting the event, also thanked TV5 & TV9 Management for the media coverage.

Audience appreciated TANA’s efforts for bringing the program to execution and for the contributions to the community.Program ended with a vote of thanks from followed by India National Anthem.

TANA is celebrating "Swara Tarangini" Musical concerts across USA in the following cities. October 11th - Raleigh, October 12th - Charlotte, October 18th - Chicago, October 25th - Detroit, October 26th- Omaha, NE, October 26th - Des  Moines, Iowa and November 1st - Boston.
