Lionel Messi, one of the greatest footballers of all time, is set to visit India on a highly anticipated multi-city tour.
The visit officially begins on December 13 in Kolkata and will take him to Hyderabad, Mumbai, New Delhi, and possibly one more city.
While announcing his India tour, Messi shared his excitement on Instagram, saying he is thrilled to visit the country and to participate in concerts, youth football clinics, a paddle cup event, and charitable initiatives at iconic stadiums across India.
He added that he looks forward to meeting India’s biggest stars and top dignitaries during the tour.
Organisers have unveiled several premium experience packages for fans hoping to meet Messi in person.
The “GOAT Fan Experience,” priced at ₹10 lakh per person, offers a meet-and-greet, a group photo with Messi, an autographed Argentina jersey, a curated dining experience, and a chance to witness his penalty showcase.
Fans will also get to see Bollywood celebrities interact with Messi.
The exclusive ticket allows entry for one person and includes a handshake and personal interaction with Messi, a professional group photograph (six people per photo), access to a gourmet buffet with non-alcoholic beverages, and one hospitality-category match ticket for the Messi G.O.A.T India Tour.
These meet-and-greet packages are available for all four cities on the tour: Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, and Hyderabad.
While the experience promises to be unforgettable, the ₹10 lakh price tag makes it accessible only to a limited set of fans.
Another package, the “Father-Son Experience,” is priced at ₹12.50 lakh. It is designed to give young fans a memorable encounter with Messi and includes a meet-and-greet for one person, a solo photo opportunity, autographed Argentina jerseys for both father and son, a dining experience, and access to Messi’s penalty showcase.
The “Family Experience,” priced at ₹25 lakh, includes a meet-and-greet and photo opportunity for two people, along with an autographed jersey, dining experience, and penalty showcase access for a group of four.
Messi’s India tour will conclude in New Delhi, where he is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence.
