'ITServe Policy Advocacy at Synergy 2017'

ITSERVE SYNERGY 2017 is an Annual Conference and Banquet that is focused on Knowledge sharing, Government policies (Taxes, Immigration etc.), Enhanced Networking and accelerating Growth.

With access to a 775+ ITServe Member network, it is an ideal platform to learn from industry experts, policy makers, Legal/Immigration attorneys, brainstorm with peers and members. 

This can also be leveraged for networking and collaborations with diverse experience and expertise from cross-functional teams. This would further help individuals / firms in gaining a strong competitive edge over their counterparts. 

ITServe Synergy has been organizing Annual Conference’s every year since 2014 in Dallas, TX and for first time is organizing its Annual conference at Houston, TX on Nov 30th and Dec 1st, 2017 at Hilton Houston North Hotel. 

This conference is expected to attract and attended by 1500+ CEO’s and CXO’s from across USA, which provides a platform for these executives to Network, Learn and Exchange various opportunities.

One of the core aspects of Synergy Conference is about “Policy Advocacy Initiatives”. We are inviting several local, state and federal elected members to the two-day conference. We have sent several invitations to Senators and Congressmen/Congresswomen. 

Few of such Senators, Congressmen & other delegates include. 
- Congresswomen - Tulsi Gabbard
- Senator - Bill Cassidy 
- Congressmen - RO Khanna 
- Senator - John Cornyn
- Senator - John Neely Kennedy

Few of the above have already confirmed while we are waiting on further confirmations from others. 

Besides learning their thoughts from these delegates, ITServe team will educate them on “Skilled & Legal Immigration Issues”. 

ITServe Leadership/Policy Advocacy team will educate them on how skilled immigration have helped the US with innovation, job creation, contribution to economy, as well as how this is helping in create jobs in various other sectors. 

As far as Immigration Attorney’s concerned, we have Attorney Ms. Sheela Murthy, Mr. Rahul Reddy & several other immigration attorneys will be sharing their thoughts on current policies/issues as well as educated the attendees about upcoming changes. We will discuss about practical issues on how USCIS is handling the current processes and discuss best practices to follow. 

Policy Advocacy team will update the members on accomplishments, current & Future plans on overall efforts. 

As shown in the diagram, Policy Advocacy is working on Six different initiatives – Lobby Firm | Partnerships | Events Hosing to educated Senators/Congressmen | PR & Social Campaigns | Judiciary Committee & Ombudsman | Grassroots Advocacy. 

We have attended the Lobby day along with TechServe and have met Senators and Congressmen/Congresswomen in the month of May 2017. 

Starting about Policy Advocacy at ITServe - Bala Nemani, Policy Advocacy Committee Chair said “ITServe Chapters had hosted Several Senators & Congressmen throughout the year. We have been supporting “Keep US Innovative” initiative for past few months.”

Inviting IT company executives to Conference Satish Nannapaneni, President of ITServe said “ITServe Synergy 2017 Houston is scheduled on Nov 30th and Dec 1st and Conference will cover in detail all the initiatives as well as plans & initiatives for 2018”.
