DPL kicks off DPL4 Cricketing tournament

The stakes are high, teams are highly competitive and yet no team is leaving stones unturned to guard their victory.

The weather is surely lending its credence to ensure a sportive and thrilling matches, all of this happening in the sporting city of Dallas.

Dallas Premier League (DPL) is into its fourth season of Cricket tournament where the best of the players are clashing to claim the much coveted title, and why not if the prize money is $10,000 and $5000 respectively!

A Twenty20 format launched by North Texas Cricket Association (NTCA) and conducted by Business Intelli Solutions (BIS), the tournament is underway with much vigor and delight.

The world class players who have made their mark in many international appearances are fighting with spirit unlimited amidst lights with D/N format. 20 overs of action and with some fiery performances the matches are bound to strike a chord with the Cricket lovers.

BIS Lions, Channel IT Spartans, Punjab Lions, Dallas Wolverine, Dallas Invincibles and United Royals are competing against each other and proving their Cricketing mettle.

During the inaugural CEO of Business Intelli Solutions (BIS) Pratap Reddy being a Cricket fans he is, exclaimed Cricket is not just a sport but a tool to stay fit and develop discipline.

A special attraction in the form of Satnam Singh (the first NBA player to be drafted from India) was present and the visitors were hustling to grab a picture with him.

Many cricketing lovers thronged to the field at the inaugural and cheered for their teams. The inaugural match saw the clash of Channel IT Spartans vs. Punjab Lions where the Punjab Lions took away the match.

The matches are proving that players are second to none and their zeal and interest to play is providing wholesome entertainment to the visitors.

The matches are being played at the Sandy Lake fields close proximity to President George Bush turnpike and visitors have no qualms despite being a week day to come and enjoy the 4 hour match.

The matches will continue till end of October with a promise to provide true cricketing action that will only be at the Dallas Premier League.
