Dallas Bathukamma Dasara Sambaralu Kick-Off By TPAD

Dallas,TX: Telangana Peoples Association of Dallas (TPAD) in Association with Telangana Development Forum (TDP) organized a Kick off meeting in support of 2014 Dallas/Fort-Worth Bathukamma-Dasara Sambaralu on Sunday, August 10th 7PM.
 
TPAD (non-profit organization) has a vision based on core principles “Inspiration, Interaction & Inclusion”.

“Preserve the Culturally rich Telangana identity. Preserve and promote classic and ancient Telugu language to next generations. Celebrate Telangana festivals in an integrated & inclusive manner. Preserve & promote rich heritage and family values to next generations. Support charity in the country of residence (United States) and in the State of Telangana in India. Facilitate business and professional networking.”

The evening started with lighting the candles to mark the birthday of Late Prof. Jayashankar. 2014 DFW-Bathukamma-Dasara Sambaralu event kicked off by Eleven member Governing Board consists of Rao Kalvala, Raghuveer Bandaru, Upendar Telugu, Mahendar Kamireddy, Janaki Mandadi, Ram Annadi, Madhavi Sunkireddy, Pavan Ganghadhara, Satish Janumpally, Raj Todigala and Executive Team.

Team has announced that 2014 DFW Bathukamma-Dasara Sambaralu will take place on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Oakpoint Amphitheater, Plano.TX.

In expression of their solidarity and support, representatives of local telugu association, Telugu Association of North Texas (TANTEX), and national Telugu associations like American Telugu Association (ATA) and North American Telugu Associations (NATA) were present at the event.

The event was attended and supported by well over 200 members of TPAD, DFW Telugu Community, local Indian business owners and professionals, TPAD raised several thousands dollars in support of 2014 DFW Bathukamma-Dasara Sambaralu.

Community leaders and volunteers Mrs. Sharada Singireddy and Mrs. Madhavi Sunkireddy announced and requested community support for upcoming events Rangoli , Bathukamma workshop for kids, Antakshari for all age groups etc.

Standing up to its signature celebration, the dinner meeting held on the pleasant evening of  Sunday, has featured cultural events, with musical performances by the highly energizing team lead by RajShekhar Suribhotla,  of local musical academy, team of  Kashish.

To add color to the event, the well-known yester year E-TV anchor Swapna Gudimella has conducted the event in a lively fashion with her spontaneous remarks. The melodies by young singers of the community Sriya Vaskarla, Sonika Podduturi, Varsha Janumpally, Shreya Telakapally, Swetha vadlamaneti, Avani sunkireddy and Aditya Vadlamaneti have attracted the audience.

Support for TPAD charities "Blood donation drive, Support for students, Water filtration etc were announced.

The event was planned and executed by TPAD Executive Committee Team memebers Ashok Kondala,Praveen Arkala,Ram Annadi,Sridevi Nuvvula,Srinivas Vemula,Sudhir Lingareddy,SAMA MADHUKAR,Nikhil Tummala ,Anand Kathroju,Harish Patlolla,Kiran Vodhandapani,Madhavi Sunkireddy,Pavan Gangadhara,Praveen Billa,Rajendar Reddy Todigala,Ravi Bajjuri,Satish Janumpalli,Satya Perkari,Srini Gangadhara,Sudhakar Kalasani,Vamshidhar Sudini,Venkatesh Tirumani,Yugandhar Methuku, Shararada Singi Reddy with the support of the back bone of the organization, the distinguished members of the Advisory Committee, lead by Rao Kalvala, with Ajay Reddy, Mahender Kamireddy, Raghuveer Bandaru, Vijay Pitta, Janaki Ram Mandadi, Raj Gondhi and Upendar Telugu. 

Advisory committee strongly believes TPAD is strategically positioned to serve DFW Telugu community at large.

By launching the kick off meeting in such grandeur, TPAD has set itself on a challenging task of producing a mega event to suit the festive occasion of “Bathukamma and Dasara Sambaralu”
